Believe we can all agree that when wedding season rolls around, the perfect lip color is needed to last through the night — from the talking, to the eating, to the smiling — it has got to stay on!
The go-to lipstick or lip color for most, before it got discontinued and replaced, is the MAKE UP Forever — N9 Rouge that came as a Sephora birthday gift. The all-time favorite that works for all seasons, adding a touch of color to those pale lips. Luckily, Make Up Forever got the hint and made a similar dupe called Rouge Artist Natural Moisturizing, Soft Shine Lipstick — N9 Cooper Pink (wow that’s a mouthful!).
However, all those go-to lipsticks have one problem in common — reapplication is unavoidable! This past wedding weekend, after trying the Revlon Colorstay Overtime Lipcolor — Unending Red, the words that come to mind are: Slay & Never Coming Off.
The claims were no lie, the wedding started at 2:30 PM ending roughly around 11 PM, it stayed in place for more than 6+ hours, with the vibrant color still intact! The creamy formula glides on easily, and moisturizes the lips without looking chapped. All these PROs for the price of $5.19 at Target!
Sounds great and all, right? But, this may NOT be the product for everyone. Below are some CONs:
- If you’re prone to dry chapped lips, it’ll enhance the peeling of the lips.
- The product dries quick, so if you have lots of lip creases, it will make the cracks its home.
This product is still worth the try, to have an opinion of your own, given the price point. So, where can you get one? Simple, any drug store brand you so desire to visit!
What a pretty lipstick 🙂 This sounds like a great one when you need longwear with a special event! Thanks for sharing 🙂

Thanks for the comment and follow, Tiffany! If you have spare change, definitely give the Revlon lipcolor a try. Also, there will be another post tomorrow about skincare, feel free to give that a read and let me know your thoughts! 😀
